Gang of New York

(Background music)

It was a lovely Sunday. B, N and I were hanging out at the Film Center Cafe in mid-town Manhattan. We talked about the recent elections in Taiwan and stuff. Of course we also chatted about other silly things such as the comparsion between Hooters and Film Center Cafe. Since N was the only one who had the first-hand experience to witness the recent Taiwan's mayor elections, we were anticipating that his underdawg observations might shed some light on the political wind of change in Taiwan, if any. The funniest thing was probably the Spanish coffee B ordered.

After N left, B and I continued our endless debates on many funky issues. From the definition of bioinformatics to discrimination, I guess we just enjoyed the process of arguments, regardless of the conclusion we could possibly reach. After all, we never set up any goal like that. Maybe that partly explained why we both chose the trails less traveled all these years.

I totally fell asleep on the LIRR train back home. The jetlag ironically helped me normalize my sleeping and waking hours.
